We have developed a teacher training curriculum and were able to host training sessions for teachers and educational personnel about new techniques of teaching how to read. We believe this will empower teachers in classrooms to teach more effectively.
Course: Teach Kids To Read
Published by Kate Sinclaire
Kate is a recognized expert in the areas of online content distribution and policy, media literacy, sexual health education, and ethical production standards. She is both a law student and a porno tour de force. Living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she has been working in porn in front and behind the camera since 2006 – founding Cherrystems.com and her production and distribution company, Ciné Sinclaire. Her films centre queer identity in a documentary style that works to represent sex in the way that people have it (and that doesn’t just mean “soft and pretty”). Her speaking work centres around media literacy, comprehensive sex education, and emphasizing the harms that come from censorship and prohibition both for consumers of porn and those who work in the industry. She’s a member of the Sex Workers of Winnipeg Action Coalition and is generally pretty happy to meet you. @MsKateSinclaire on all the platforms. Her passion is sparked by intersections of technology, e-commerce, access to media, law, ethics, and policy. She has built experience in these areas through fifteen years of operating her own digital content production and distribution companies, a decade of community engagement, and years spent working with activist and advocacy groups. This work has seen her author briefs to Parliament both as a business owner on behalf of organizations, as well as reviewing draft factums and evidentiary records for an impending Charter challenge. Kate has never been content to simply take things as they are - her sense of curiosity for how systems operate keeps her questioning, critiquing, and engaged with policy and legislative decision-making.
